Trailer to my driveway in Vermont from Greentown, PA on December 23rd. The PO, NYWingman delivered the bike on a little Harbor Freight The mileage on the bike as of March 13th, 2009. March 13th, 2009 after opening the Cycle-Shell I kept my Honda Silver Wing in. The SWing had a very small leak out of the final drive that was pointed out to meīy someone on staff of the event before the start. The one and only picture I have of my participation in the 2008 Minuteman 1000, that I successfully completed after 23 hours, 38 minutes. I've always wanted one of those, but there is no way I could fix a flat in one of those huge tube type tires by myself out in the middle of nowhere. And scanning film pictures turns them into digital, so there isn't much point. You can still get 35mm film (except Kodachrome) and get it developed, but the price has gone way up. I'm not a motovlogger though, so the only sound would be the bike, wind, and whatever was around me. Now that those handlebar or helmet mounted video cameras have come way down in price, I might get one and just take video of the ride, and then edit it. I started a thread where I was doing that, but it just wasn't fun.

It can be a real hassle looking for something to take a picture of the bike in front of, then parking the bike in front of it, getting off and taking a picture without getting run over. I have a cheap digital camera (and a very expensive 35mm film camera) The cheap camera takes acceptable pictures, but I rarely ever take any while riding. After dropping the bike I pulled out my phone to check my position and never thought to take pictures of the ridiculous position I had put myself in. It was a blessing in disguise as past the top of the hill the road turns into an axle deep, 4x4 truck axle deep swamp. I tried to turn the bike around and dropped it. I knew I had to be moving faster to make it the top but the basic suspension on the NC would have thrown me off of the bike if I didn't back off of the throttle. I was on a roll and kept going until I dropped my bike on a too-steep hill. I made it back to civilization only to jump back into the fire by riding over three, three foot high berms laid across the road to keep a clueless dumbass like me from driving on it.

Even though I had a camera with me I did not take one picture the whole ride of 23 hours and 38 minutes.Ī couple of years ago I was riding my NC700XD and took a GPS shortcut (ha, ha) back to the campground we usually stay at and found myself hyperventilating on some seriously technical (to me anyway) roads some of which were marked as snowmobile trails. I rode a Saddle Sore 1000 as part of the Minuteman 1000 in June of 2008 on a 2003 Honda Silver Wing scooter. I don't take pictures, not when I should anyway. I started this thread because maybe, just maybe I might actually start taking pictures of my exploits with this bike. They even let me pee behind some trucks in the yard as I would not go into the building. I filled out the paperwork in the back seat of the car while the salesman loaded the bike onto the trailer. I drove our Hyundai Santa Fe to Northampton, picked up a U-Haul one-way MC trailer on the way to the dealership. I set up a socially distanced sale and transfer a couple of days earlier. I bought the bike from Valley Motorsports in Northampton, MA They were one of theĬlosest Yamaha dealers to me that had one in stock. This is my first sight of my new 2020 Xmax 300 on November, 06, 2020.
